Beata studied the cello at The Royal College of
Music in Stockholm and as a scholarship student at Manhattan
School of Music in New York.
She received her Master of Music
degree in 2002. Her professors were Mats Rondin, David Geber,
Julia Lichten, Isidore Cohen and Ann Wallström.
Beata is a freelance musician and composer specializing in chamber music,
baroque and Argentine tango nuevo. She has released three albums
of tango music together with her Argentinean band.
Beata's CD 'Beatitudes' was nominated for an Argentine grammy in 2005 for best
new sound in tango and best artist. Her CD 'Bailata' is released
worldwide by Harmonia Mundi.
Beata has toured in Europe, Scandinavia, Argentina and the U.S as
a soloist and chamber musician.
