Inaugral Casa dei Mezzo Music Festivals

The First Casa dei Mezzo Music Festival took place in June 2004. This was then followed by the highly successful Second Festival in June 2005.

The Second Casa dei Mezzo Music Festival

The Second Festival featured an interesting and varied selection of music, including Bach, Beethoven, Purcell and Rachmaninov. There were also performances by Øystein Sevåg and Manolis Lianoudakis.

Caravan by Øystein Sevåg

We were especially proud that Øystein Sevåg, who has been described in the American press as "Norways most important export article", used Casa dei Mezzo as his inspiration for his musical composition of the same name. This composition is now featured on Øystein's CD 'Caravan'.
