Viktor Stenhjem
Viktor Stenhjem, born 1989 in Bergen, Norway, began violin lessons at age 4.
He studied in the Trondheim Cathedral School's Music Department and at the Young Musicians Talent Program, Trondheim University. He currently studies with David Takeno at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, on a full scholarship.
Viktor has performed as a soloist with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra and the Trondheim Junior Soloists on several occasions. Other important performances include a solo recital at the Winter Festival in Røros, 2010, where he also collaborated in chamber ensembles with performers such as Marianne Thorsen and Philippe Graffin.
Viktor has appeared throughout Europe and in Argentina, China, Israel, Tanzania and Mozambique. He is a founding member and lead violinist of Tangueros del Norte (2003), and a prizewinner of the annual Norwegian Young Musicians Competition, Oslo.
